Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth

Plan my visit to Spinnaker Tower

Ride up Portsmouth’s 170m landmark for sweeping harbour, Solent and city views, with optional glass-floor, Sky Bar, tea or abseil experiences

Spinnaker Tower

Spinnaker Tower is Portsmouth’s waterfront viewing tower at Gunwharf Quays, built for big harbour-and-Solent moments rather than a long museum-style visit. The core experience is the All Day View ticket: lift up to the main viewing levels, take in the changing views over Portsmouth Harbour, the Solent and Isle of Wight, try the Sky Walk glass floor, and use same-day return visits if the weather or light changes.

The tower also has bookable experiences that change the shape of the visit: High Tea or Brunch in The Clouds at 105m, evening drinks at the over-18s Sky Bar, and seasonal/dated abseiling down more than 100m from the tower. It works well as a compact standalone visit or as a memorable anchor before or after time in Gunwharf Quays, the Historic Dockyard area or the waterfront.
