Going on a route

Routes are curated, ordered experiences such as food tours, neighbourhood trails and self-guided journeys.

You do not need to connect PlanMyVisit to an AI service to use a route. Routes run in the Autoura Connect app.

How to start a route

1

Download the app

Install Autoura Connect on your phone before you start the route.

The app is used to open and follow routes.

2

Scan the route QR code

Open a route detail page on PlanMyVisit and scan the QR code with Autoura Connect.

The QR code opens the route in the app, ready for you to follow.

3

Follow the route

The app will guide you through the route in order, from one stop to the next.

Routes work best when the sequence matters: start here, go there next, then finish somewhere specific.

Some routes are paid tours or bookable experiences.

If a route needs to be paid for, buy it directly from the local tour operator. They will send you an invite or instructions for opening the route in Autoura Connect.

PlanMyVisit shows the route information, but the local operator manages the booking, payment and tour details.
