Cathedral of St Patrick & St Joseph

The Cathedral of St Patrick and St Joseph is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Auckland and a significant example of brick-built Gothic Revival architecture

St Matthew-in-the-City Church

The third church on the site, it can hold 1200 people and is noted for its music, notably the St Matthew's Bach Cantata Choir and the St Matthew's Chamber Orchestra

Auckland town hall

Originally the town hall, the building is now a multi-functional venue and world class performance hall

The University of Auckland clock tower
