Beatles & Bites
Discover The Beatles through the historic locations, art and hostelries of Liverpool
Your tour starts on the historic Liverpool Waterfront and the eye catching statue of The Beatles. A short walk takes you to the Cavern Quarter, where you will stop at the Hard Days Night Hotel for coffees and snacks, before exploring Mathew Street. Here you will find the entrance to the iconic Cavern Club, where the band forged their sound, as well as statues, murals and memorials, all devoted to the Fab Four and bands of the Merseybeat.
After a quick stop at the Beatles Shop for souvenirs, you will then head towards the Knowledge and the Georgian Quarters, but not before popping in to The Jacaranda for a coffee and experiencing the venue for the band's rehearsals and early performances.
The tour then takes in further significant buildings in the history of The Beatles, including the imposing Liverpool Cathedral, where Paul McCartney was rejected as a choir boy! Meanwhile a more substantive meal can be had at The Philharmonic Dining Rooms, where a young McCartney used to play and where he has even been known to give more modern day impromptu performances.
Your tour then heads back to the Liverpool Waterfront area, where you will end your tour at the award winning Beatles Story museum, where you can continue your Beatles pilgrimage at your own pace.
