Czech cuisine in the New and Old Town
The 'City of a Hundred Spires' has a fantastic food scene often overlooked by tourists so avoid the tourist traps and explore authentic Czech cuisine
Start in Prague's Nové Město (New Town) with a coffee and sweet treat at EMA Coffee Bar before heading over to Nase Meso, a traditional butchers specialising in all things meat.
Then, head to one of Prague's best chain pubs, Lokál, and try some Czech bar snacks. Wash it all down with a beer (or pivo in Czech!) or a kofola a fizzy drink that was communist Czechoslovakia's answer to Coca-Cola and Pepsi.
After, take a stroll through the wonderous streets of Prague and cross the Old Town Square on your way to grab some Czech fast food at Lahůdky zlatý kříž. Make sure to try the chlebicky, a traditional Czch open-faced sandwich that's popular with the locals.
Finish your tour at the impressive art deco Café Louvre and sample authentic Czech meals in the same building as Albert Einstein and Franz Kafka once visited!
