Walk through the oldest city of Germany

Start your Trier tour at the old roman entrance of the city, called the Porta Nigra. Built in 170 AD, today it's one of the town's iconic landmarks. After that, we will visit the museum of Simeonstift.

Next, visit Coffee Fellows. There, grab some drinks and something to eat for the palace gardens later on. Take a walk through the city and enjoy the beautiful architecture. Visit the basilica of Constantine, another Roman structure built between 308 - 337 AD.

Then, journey to the Electoral Palace and head to the garden to sit down, relax, and eat your food.

The city gate was built around the year 180 AD. Weathering has given the light brown sandstone a dark colour. This is why people have spoken of the Porta Nigra since the Middle Ages. This is Latin and means "black gate"
