St John's College

St John's College was founded in 1555, by Sir Thomas White. The college is situated on a single 5.5 hectare site. Most of the college buildings are organised around seven quadrangles

Balliol College

Balliol College was founded around 1263 and the college's alumni include four former Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom and five Nobel laureates

All Souls College

A historic Oxford college on the High Street, founded in 1438 and best appreciated for its striking quadrangles, chapel and famous Codrington Library frontage

The Queen's College

The Queen's College was founded in 1341 by Robert de Eglesfield and is distinguished by its predominantly neoclassical architecture

Merton College

The foundation of Merton College can be traced back to the 1260s and its quadrangle is said to be the oldest in Oxford, being built before the end of the 13th century

Corpus Christi College

Corpus Christi College was founded in 1517 and is one of the smallest in Oxford by student population, having around 250 undergraduates and 90 graduates

Oriel College

Oriel College was established in 1324, and incorporates four medieval halls: Bedel Hall, St Mary Hall, St Martin Hall, and Tackley's Inn, the last being the oldest standing medieval hall in Oxford

Christ Church

Christ Church was founded in 1546 by King Henry VIII, with the college uniquely being a joint foundation of the university and the cathedral of the Oxford diocese, Christ Church Cathedral
